Spring is just around the corner and Louisville always has some great festivals going on! You hear a lot about the Kentucky Derby Festival, but what about smaller festivals that go on all over town?! We've checked out events calendars and found some great things to look forward to, here's our list of Spring Festivals and events in Louisville!

The 4th annual Louisville Kids Fair will be at the Kentucky International Convention Center with tons of events. Check out the Kent Family Magic Circus, mini golf, the obstacle course, the carnival area and more!

Second Saturday in March, free at the Paroquet Springs Conference Centre in Shepherdsville, KY. This festival is designed to entertain and educate children 12 and under.
St. Patrick's Day Parade

Kentucky Derby Festival Events

Bardstown Colonial Days

Relive the Colonial Days in Bardstown, KY as the city comes alive with 18th Century re-enactors for the entire weekend! Walk through the Market Fair, historical art displays, an Native American village and more!
April 13, 2014 - 2pm-6pm
It'a a car free road! Bike, walk and play on Louisville streets, this will be held on Frankfort Ave along a 2 mile strech from Pope Street to Stilz Avenue! This is a great way to be healthy and have fun!

This great fest in Old Louisville has a Kosair KidsZone. a Parisian Flea Market, a Beer Garden, Wine and Bourbon tent and food trucks. Street entertainment and local bands will be playing on both nights!
St. Matthews Street Festival

This is a great street fest, with everything you'd expect, live music, retail booths, a kids zone and a beer garden. At the corner of Lexington and Frankfort from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
10th Annual Forest Fest - Bluegrass Music Festival

Head out to the Jefferson Memorial Forest for a great day filled with Bluegrass Music, exquisite wood crafts and fun activities for the entire family. 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Event is free, parking $10.
